Dave Posted December 16, 2015 Share Posted December 16, 2015 Hi Guys, First time posting and hope to post more about my new qashqai i have purchased a week ago. Just needed a bit of help. Having had my qashqai for a week now, i was parked outside a friends house and in the vehicle when some idiot hit into my wing mirror! He then proceeded to drive off! By the time i got out to check he was gone!! Now there is little scrathes on the side mirror which i can live with but now the side mirror can be pushed in and out very easily. The other mirror cant do this (even though i have read on another forum that they can be pushed in and out manually). The mirrors still go in and out when i push the electric mirror button but the one that was hit makes a noise like something has snapped every time i close the mirrors and then open again. The camera works normal too. What i wanted to know is that can the wing mirror be opened or repaired or does the whole thing need replacing. It still works but when you manually push that mirror in it is very very loose and easily pushes in but the other side is very stiff and only goes in and out using the electric control button. Any help would be appreciated. I have a Nissan Qashqai +2 Ntec+, 61 plate with birds eye view camera. Cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
