need some advice for my 2005 xtrail 2.5 petrol sport please, the last couple of times towing i have had a real strong bad egg smell coming from under the bonnet at first i thought it may be the clutch as the smell only occurs when reversing but not in forward motion, does not happen when not towing, have been told its the clutch, the cat converter and also fuel problem but would have thought it would do it at all times not just towing in reverse, any informed info to save me replacing the wrong parts and wasting money thanks
