I recently acquired a 54 reg micra with low mileage, fsh, etc. the PS warning light has appeared & there is no PS although it is drivable. Our usual garage said its a fault with the electronic power steering & it needs to be seen by an auto electrical specialist. We’ve been quoted over £800 for a fix. We’ve since read some horror stories on another forum regarding this particular fault on 04-05 reg micras. Some with easy fix’s & some not. Can anyone advise on a reputable independent Nissan auto electrician/mechanic in the north east of England? Thanks
