arty899 Posted July 2, 2017 Share Posted July 2, 2017 Hi all, the rear parking sensors on my 2008 model have stopped working, when engaging reverse i get 1 long beep then 2 short beeps ( i think a warning they are not working) when i am close to an object nothing happens, i have renewed the reverse light switch still nothing has anyone any idea on how to check the sensors as they don't look easy to get at, cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Trevor Posted July 3, 2017 Share Posted July 3, 2017 If you switch the ignition on (engine not running) with reverse gear selected and go round the back of the car, put you ear to each sensor and you should hear a clicking noise if it is working...find the one that isn't clicking or fainter than the others and that is the one you'll need to replace and the system should start working again.
