Bonovox Posted January 24, 2018 Share Posted January 24, 2018 Hi all Hope someone can help with this. Whilst checking the oil level on my daughters 2003 Micra, the dipstick tube has broken off!!! Trevor Posted January 24, 2018 Share Posted January 24, 2018 Hi...welcome to the Forum I think in this instance it is a case of having to bite the bullet as the potential loss of oil is quite high from the lower part of the block so not worth taking a chance in my mind. Best get stuck in or send it into a garage...shouldn't cost much in labour and may be easier to replace from underneath the car.
