Put new battery in so know that it's the remote control. Does anyone know where i can get a replacement as well as someone who can program it. the car is a 1996 QX 3.0ltr SEL. Trevor Posted December 25, 2021 Share Posted December 25, 2021 Hi Mike Merry Christmas. If you take it apart you may find that the small microswitches may have come away from the circuit board. Not sure if it affects the QX but it is common on the X-Trail (similar to the Renault electronics) Not too difficult to resolder or get some replacements from eBay to fit and no programming needed Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
