My nissan qashqai 2.0tdi has started leaking what I think is diesel from an aluminium pipe from underneath the engine. I have no idea what this pipe is? Trevor Posted May 11, 2022 Share Posted May 11, 2022 If you are referring to the open pipe coming from the side of the engine then this is more than likely the air conditioning discharge pipe which takes the moisture from inside the car (when on recirculate) and dumps the water into the floor. Check the fluid being emitted from it is actually water and not diesel....if it is diesel then it would need to be booked in for immediate repairs without being driven as this creates a hazard for all road users.
