    Hi Ken, It seems that nobody is reading your post, or noboby has a reply worth replying. I just bought a 2004 QX and may not have the answer, as I am still finding my way around the technical stuff. Can you not open your boot at all, or just not with the remote? I see there is a knob/button in the arm rest on drivers side that will open the boot for my model. Before the Maxima I had a Mercedes S320, and can I tell you, that thing has too many electronics for my liking. After 4 years of driving it I still have'nt figured it all out. Hopefully you have sorted your problem by yourself. Cheers.
