Deficient rear axle is one of a number of things causing my Nissan Micra 998 cc petrol automatic to fail its mot. (Last year one of its failure points was that the horn was too harsh!) Garage says that a Nissan replacement would cost over £1,000 and take 13 weeks to deliver. Does anyone know the best place to source the correct specification of rear axle for this model. I'd also like to get a replacement parcel shelf too. The car is an R prefix registration, so late 1997 or early 1998.
1 month ago airbag light started to flash.
2 weeks ago sometimes when I would turn the wheel while driving the horn would beep, I ordered a new steering clock.
2 days ago while driving the horn beeped and the car died on the road.
When I turn on the ignition, the only things that work are the lights, radio and door locks. There is nothing on the dashboard EXCEPT the flashing red car key light. Everything else is totally dead...Nothing.
The ground cable from the battery was very corroded, it has been changed and I installed the new steering clock. No change. I put back in the old steering clock.
Any tips or help is greatly appreciated!!
Hi everyone,my wife has a 2012 1.6 petrol Note auto. It's at around 70k miles & I'm thinking that I should get the ATF changed. My local garage is having trouble sourcing & even identifying the correct spec of the oil.It is a really great little car & we want to keep it as long as possible.
Anyone any ideas please?
