    New member with serious wheel and tyre confusion :-(

    I have been the proud owner of one of quite rare Micra c+c 1600. It has it has its faults but is a fun little car with a boot the size a church, with the roof up. I have just suffered a slow puncture. Took it to ATS and the nice man did lots of checks and then told me the tyre was fine but the alloy wheel was damaged, possibly from a pot hole :-( I went straight online to look for another alloy but I don't know if these are the right size as went I prevuiously went to change a tyre I went to three different tyre dealers to find on as the ones on the car were 'unusual' and hard to get hold of !! That means the allloys may ALSO be the wrong size ? OMG ! The size on the tyre I have is 185/50R16 81V whereas my handbook says three or four sizes. I don't know what way to go. I DO want to put on both tyres and wheels that fit in with what NISSAN advise but all the figures and letters mean nothing to me :-( Fluffy
