    Engine failure on 14 Reg Qashqai Tekna

    Cromwell posted a topic in General Nissan Owners Lounge
    Nissan are replacing complete engine under warranty in 14 Reg Qashqai Tekna purchased new, mileage 17,000. Cause of engine failure not yet identified. Should we expect/negotiate full three year warranty on new engine? Current warranty has just under two years' remaining. Should we be concerned about servicing milestones being out of kilter with 17,000 miles differential between car and engine. Also will resale value be negatively affected by engine replacement? First purchase of Nissan vehicle.
