    immobiliser issue

    I drive a 2002 nissan micra 1.0 16v and it has recently been cutting out on me at when i drive and it has happened several times now where i will be driving along and it will all of a sudden cut out completely/turn the engine off and not allow me to start the car up again. The red light stays on/is solid when you turn the ignition key and the car will just keep turning over but wont start. Any ideas on how I can fix the problem or whether it is the immobiliser or if its something else?? Many Thanks Chloe Williams
