I bought a pair of cases to protect our keys for the 2021 Qashqai, especially after reading about so many thefts from scum copying key info and nicking cars. They worked fine at first, one for mine and one for the wife's, they protected the key and the car wouldn't open until the key was out of the case, all was fine. However, a couple of months in and they seemed to have affected the keys, even out of the case and with a new battery inserted, the keys are very flaky, sometimes they work sometimes they don't. If the button is pressed on the fob they work fine but then sometimes the key isn't recognised by the ignition! Not too sure what the answer is... we have stopped using the pouches and still the keyless opening is inconsistent. (we've hidden the pouches!) is there a way of re-pairing the key to the car? I am trying the maker of the pouches to see if they have an answer.

OK, have changed it now for a 2021 QQ T-Connecta auto and the difference between the (2016) 1.2 and the 1.3 is remarkable..... its very quick out of the blocks for this type of car, so far very pleased with it. I did have an orange engine management light show up but it was diagnosed as a warning about the 'radar' apparently, now cleared by local Nissan dealer. and no...it wasn't a low flying aircraft 😉

Advice required....... Just about to change our 2016 Qashqai T-Connecta for a newer version, early 2021 - the only disappointment with the current model are the headlamps, the installed bulbs seem very dull. Has anyone changed theirs for LED equivalent and if so which ones were used and are they Nissan replacement bulbs, or 3rd party. Thanks for any advice .

I have been told that the new models have a 1.3 as opposed to ours being 1.2 - apparently it makes quite a difference.

Hi members.... just about to trade in my lovely 2016 N Connecta for a 2021 Tekna (non hybrid) 11k on the clock. Can anyone tell me what the differences are, the wife wants to know why I am parting with the Christmas cash! Thanks for any help.

I have searched and I'm sure I can't be the only one looking for advice on leaving my 2016 Qashqai in our garage for 6 weeks whilst we are away. Does any member have any advice for things I should do, to save battery etc as it will be over the winter period too. Thanks in advance.
