Thanks Trevor on further investigation we have found similar fault on other Vehicle's and it was found to be Evaporative sensor ( Ambient Thermostat) have one on order but nil stock Australia due in a couple weeks I will post the result

New to the Forum My Wife has owned her X Trail TI from new 2015 and has been an excellent vehicle with NO problems til now 156000klm over the last 2 years 2022 -2025 I have had the vehicle in and out of dealerships trying to fix the AC and in desperation Iam asking any owners that may have had the same problem. It is fitted with climate control start car switch AC on most times it starts cooling straight away, others times not for a couple klms ,anyway once AC is cooling without warning it switches from inside air ( recirculate ) to outside air and when this happens the compressor turns off and stops cooling blowing hot air after a few minutes it will switch back to inside air and start cooling and this is the problem it randomly switches from inside air ( cooling ) to outside air NOT cooling this can happen from every few seconds to every 5-10 minutes . Some days it will work ok but more on cooler days that hot. At the moment it is only working 10% of the time 35- 40s outside temp. the Dealers have re gassed the system replaced TX valve and filter replaced various relays I understand Nissan had a recall for 2014 /2015 models on AC compressors Iam wondering if anyone has experienced similar problems
