About Me

So I joined here after I bought my first Nissan Micra. A K12 2010 1.2 16v. It's not in a good state. The top offside engine mount was very broken, so I replaced it. Also did the air filter which wasn't bad, but I want to start from a known point. Oil and filter are next, along with the Spark Plugs. After that, the gearbox oil

When I bought it I would say it has not been cared for that well.

So as to me personally, I fly FPV drones, go to the gym and enjoy long distance walking. I would describe my vehicle skills as hobby/DIY level. i previously converted two vans to campers, a Transit and an Expert, so am happy DIY'ing stuff inside vehicles. I can do a lot of the basic mechanical stuff, like brakes, fluids, filters, some suspension related tasks and some electrics/electronics related tasks. But I'm not a fan of opening up the engine, so I don't touch clutches, gearboxes, engines and exhausts. Those I leave to professional mechanics.
