    Points and condenser to electronic ignition conversion

    Howdy folks, First post here, hoping for some advice. I have an 1983 Nissan sunny (B11 chassis, E13 engine) that seems to chew through points pretty quickly and has failed me a few times in annoying situations. Has anybody had any experience with an electronic ignition to replace the points and condenser? I've attached a photo of the part I'm thinking of buying. Anyone know if they work OK - more robust than the points? Starting, fuel economy, easy to install etc? Thanks for your help
