    Proof of year of manufacture

    Hi can anyone on this site me tell me where I could get a letter to prove the year of manufacture of a vehicle. I am trying to register a 7 year old car which has never been on the road yet. DVLA has rejected the reg application until I have this. I did supply an email saying the date but they wouldn't accept that. They suggested getting info from an owners club. The car is a Nissan Micra C+C VIN no.SJN2EAK12U6010247. I know the year is contained in the VIN but DVLA need more proof. Thanks Stu

    New owner intro

    Hi just thought I would introduce myself. I have just bought a 2007 Micra C+C which is unregistered and only has 7 miles on the clock. I am in the process of getting it ready for the road, but to register it I need a certificate of conformity for this car. It is a UK car, not been damaged, it has just stood for a while not being used. Where would I get one from or has anyone got one they could send me. Regards Stu
