Nissan Micra 2002/2003 (K12) speed cable or sensor??

Hi guys, 

 

Just a quick question for those out there with the knowledge of this. 

 

Does the K12 nissan micra (2003 onwards shape) shape have a speedo cable running from the gearbox to the dials or does it have the speed sensor?

 

recently just imported a nissan micra 2002 1.2 auto 16v from japan and need to change the speedo from km to miles. i need to know which type it is before i can order parts 

 

The same shape micra was introduced in Japan an earlier year compared to europe. 

 

Car spec : 2002 Nissan Micra k12 1.2 16v automatic

 

any help would be appreciated,
