Posted April 1, 201510 yr Desperate to locate replacement front cross member for my 1999 QX - it's the one under the radiator and appears to hold the front of the car together! Anybody have any ideas? Thanks UPDATE Had no success at all. Have spoken to Nissan and they are happy to supply at a cost - over £300 - a sum I cannot justify due to the age of the car. I had expected to pay up to £100 - an estimate supported by the fact that in the USA you can get them for less than that. Admittedly, the car is far more popular 'over the pond' than in the UK. Been tempted to buy from there and would still be a good deal - even with shipping BUT cannot guarantee it will be identical to the one I need so dare not take the risk. So, looks like I will have to run the old lady until her MOT is up and then scrap - a shame as she runs great and has been converted to LPG. This is my last appeal, someone must know where I can get this part in the UK?! Fingers crossed! Thanks.
