Hi all

New to this so bear with me, bought an '03 sport-x 180k last sunday, well apparently i stole it according to a few people. Always wanted a 4x4 but drove company cars so couldn't justify another motor. I now drive a van for work and wanted/needed personal transport son being a HUGE landrover fan wanted me to buy a discovery but too much money for something that was only going to be used occassionally, ok a freelander he said, dont much like them, anyhow sunday 17th may was surfing gumtree and seen this 03 x trail needs a bit of mechanical work done, maybe i can ask advice? handy with all things mechanical/electrical (computer engineer of a few well a lot of years) used it last night to pull a trailer, yea it had no tow bar fitted but i put one on, almost doubled the price i paid, but was blown away trailer had 3 ex army metal framed tents, took two of us to lift the hitch and fit it to the x trail, but i was and i say it again, blown away, rough farm track then up a quite steep grassy field and the motor just breezed it, almost ticking over, i now love my x trail, it looks quite good as well too i have to say..
