The tailgate handle on my 4 year old Qashqai has snapped off. The fixing is flimsy, some plastic clips, and other owners on the web have had this problem. Nissan do not admit that the handle is not robust and fit for purpose, and are not interested in any liability. Anyone else had this problem?

We have the same problem and I know loads of other people have. Anyone had any luck contacting Nissan dealers and getting another one fiited for free. Why should people have to pay for a replacement when it is clearly a manufacturers problem !!!
