Hi I have a 2007 navara the steering wheel controls don't work including the horn and cruise control and all audio buttons and the airbag light is on. The stalks do work. I believe this is a common fault from what I have seen on line but can anyone give me a definite diagnosis on this problem as opinions do vary. Thanks.

I would definitely say that the rotary coupling that connects the steering wheel electronics & airbag is defective.

Have you had any work carried out on the vehicle recently?

I have spoken to an auto electrician and they think it is the squibb ring inside the steering wheel.  They will be investigating it tomorrow. Thank you
