Good afternoon guys. I recently bought a nissan almera 1.5 for my son and oh hoe stupid was I.

Yesterday on the M3 the car started to lose power in 5th. Went into 4th at 3000 rpm and the problem went away. Once I got home the Eml went on and the exhaust started to be a little noisy. The rev limiter goes down and up sometimes when idle. There is no noise at all coming from the engine. It sounds great. Today I started the car again the eml is on but the car pulls like it should in all gears. What can this be? Thanks

Hi,   I would scan the electronic system to check what the fault codes are.

Could more than likely be the Air Flow Meter or similar, but without checking then it's hard to say
