Hi, I have a problem with my 2008 Nissan Qashqai 1.5 diesel which won’t start.

Last week the car took a couple of attempts to start but only on a few days, and then on Saturday refused to start at all. I thought it was a dirty fuel filter but have replaced that and it has made no difference.

There appears to be no power supply to the fuel pump under the rear seats when I checked it with a multimeter. Does anyone know which connector in IPDM supplies power to this pump or can supply a relevant wiring diagram?

There could be several issues affecting the power supply to the pump, system relay, crank sensor, immobiliser, fuel cut off valve, fuel pressure switch to name but a few.

Probably best to run a diagnostic on the other systems to see if any live data reveals an issue.

Also, worth checking all earth straps as these can be problematic on Nissans
