I bought a 61 plate Micra and everything great until I unfortunately left the lights on and deadened the battery.

Is the 4 digit code somewhere on the car? It didn't come with the manual.

You should be able to get this from your local dealership at no cost

If they say about a charge then I would state that the documentation that came with the car was not complete and did not include the radio code (which it should have)

Not registered on their database (so they say)

They want £35 to sort it

ouch!   sometimes there is radio code software available on ebay...maybe worth having a look on there

Call to some  good electrician-he will decode your radio-in my case I paid 15 eur
