Kater232 Posted March 5, 2018 Share Posted March 5, 2018 Hi guys, I drive a 2009 Nissan Qashqai with CVT transmission, yet I’ve encountered an issue which rose today: when I drive and come close to a stop (applying brakes) there’s a rattle, when I stand still you can’t here it, when I release the brakes without throttle I hear it again. When I came home and put it in P it kept rattling, will add a YouTube video for clarification, anyone having an idea of what this might be? Trevor Posted March 7, 2018 Share Posted March 7, 2018 If it has only just started then it may be something coming adrift. I would recommend taking it to a garage for them to raise it on a lift and try to isolate the origins of the rattle.....could be a transmission component Let us know what you find Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kater232 Posted March 8, 2018 Author Share Posted March 8, 2018 IT eventually ended up being the heat shield leaning on the exhaust pipe... refitted it wit a few nuts and some rubber plates to keep it in place. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
