new home charging plug needed on upgrading to ARIYA

I'm upgrading from LEAF to ARIYA but will then need a type 2 plug for my garaged /tethered home charging unit. have found adapters on line -but they come with warning that they are not recommended as long term solution. assume this is risk of over heating. How big is the risk -do folk just do it ? OR should I buy a new type 2 plug & get electrician to wire it into my tethered unit ??

In my opinion I would acquire a new plug as you are dealing with high current and particularly when wired to your house if any issue were to occur in the mains supply then the repercussions could be huge.
