My almera has an electrical fault which makes the lights and dials flick on and off when you first start car usually 5 mins or so to sort itself out, anyone any ideas what this could be? Had new alternator and battery as thought it could be those.

I would check all of the earth leads coming from the battery negative terminal and those leading from the engine and gearbox to the chassis on the underside of the car and in the engine bay....not uncommon to break and lead to this type of fault
