March 15Mar 15 Hi folks, just got new car. Main problem is the stop/start engine button which has suddenly started to flash on and off; if car stops engine re-start is hitting the brake, never knew this; when I got to my destination my dash lit up with yellow and orange warning signals; when I went to double lock door it made a weird sort if grinding sound. i am not stupid. I have driven simple cars all my life. Medical reasons meant I needed a better car. I am used to automatic, not the no key thing but it’s not a problem. The car is parked up and last time I saw the stop/start engine button was flashing. lot to ask but am I just losing the plot or have I got something to worry about? As a ps the parking light is staying on bright red on dashboard when car off which it has not done since I got it from dealers 4 days ago! Some photos are not clear so not sent. be patient please, I am 73 and reading booklets isn’t helpful but after : calls to dealership today not one person rang back.
