Software issue re auto gearbox

Sometimes when I accelerate from a slow speed eg approaching a roundabout - there is a lack of response unless I rapidly tap the accelerator and and then get a response.

Dealer says issue is relearn gearbox - a software download from Nissan headquarters - that in my case is not working.

Has anyone else had a similar issue and was it resolved?
