  3. So when you are finally released from lockdown and able to drive your car....what music will you play in the car?
  4. Hi....welcome to the Forum Here are some links that may be of use to you in your search. Someone breaking a Sunny for parts: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BREAKING-1989-NISSAN-SUNNY-1-3-DX-ESTATE-SPARE-PARTS-WHEEL-NUT/283366866619?hash=item41f9fb3ebb:g:VAAAAOSwAhtcWYvp Window Regulator: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_osacat=0&_odkw=1989+nissan+sunny+parts&_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=1989+nissan+sunny+window+regulator&_sacat=0 Central Locking Solenoid: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_osacat=0&_odkw=1989+nissan+sunny+window+regulator&_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=1989+nissan+sunny+central+locking+solenoid&_sacat=0
  5. glad you got there in the end and thanks for sharing the information that could help anyone else in the same situation.
  6. I think the way I would approach is that the bearing is just that....a bearing. Most bearing companies will treat it as that and measure the internal and external sizes, type of bearing, load and speed rating and then find you a suitable replacement (which may have a higher revolution speed or load rating) but I could almost guarantee that there will be something available, just not listed as a replacement Nissan wheel bearing. Try these guys: http://www.ashleypower.co.uk/
  7. Hi Mike I have always gone to a bearing specialist supplier when I have encountered an odd one like this. May not be close to you but Ashley Bearings in Poole always come up trumps. Cheers, Trevor
  8. Usually, they are held in place by a spring clip which is part of the jet itself. Try gently moving the jet either backwards or forwards against any spring pressure to release the jet
  9. Glad you got it sorted
  10. I have found this information for the Suzuki Alto (which is virtually the same car) it is tucked up directly above the 'bonnet pull' handle on the off side and the radio fuse is the blue one right in the corner at the front of this fuse-box.
  11. Hi Andrew....welcome to the Forum Good to have you onboard
  12. Has it definitely got a 'Stop / Start' specification battery as these have a deeper cell charge capacity than a standard battery? If so, then I wouldn't worry too much about driving it as is...just won't have the stop/start function which you should be able to switch off anyway
  13. Sorry to hear that .... it does seem that unless there is a trend which is developing over time (e.g. Honda clutches which are as weak as wet cardboard) then it doesn't register as a fault. Rather frustrating on your behalf I would imagine....maybe worth getting it sold whilst it has a new clutch in it?
  14. Glad it worked out okay for you...enjoy!
  15. Gwen & Brian . Did you resolve the clutch issue with Nissan ?
  16. Helen1976 . How did it go with the engine diagnosis?
  17. How's the X-Trail . bluephenex . ?
  18. Hi Steve...welcome to the Forums I can't believe there are only 34 left on the roads now....used to see so many around but I suppose they are all in the scrapyard in the skies now :-( Good to hear you're keeping another on the road Be good to see a photo of the Prairie if you wish to post one up? Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  19. Hi Weeman...welcome to the Forums Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  20. Hi Ian Sounds like a slipping auxiliary drivebelt causing the noise. If you gently trickle water over the drivebelts and if the noise disappears then hey presto! replace the belt. Sometimes also it can be a dry tensioner bearing that can create the noise...same test applies here as well. Let us know if this works, Cheers, Trevor
  21. generally it is a combination of station preset buttons and thats it....do you have the handbook at all? If not, then maybe a guide on youtube for your car model, year and radio fitted
  22. Hi....welcome to the Forum If you have fitted a quality (branded) Stop/Start battery then it shouldn't be a problem there. I would imagine it does need programming back in but maybe worthwhile driving around for a while to let it settle down and relearn. Let us know how you get on with it
  23. You certainly have a passion for all things Nissan by the sound of it .... thanks for sharing the pictures with us
  24. Hi...welcome to the Forums Sounds like a worn CV joint that's clicking. Sorry, not sure about the windscreen seal though
