Recently acquired a 2016 Qashqai DCI with the 1461 diesel engine, would like to continue doing my own servicing but I am having difficulty accessing the oil filter which, though readily visible high up on the engine block, is obstructed by pipes and by the top canopy (acoustic baffle?) If I could get the top canopy off, I think I could tackle the filter but there are no obvious signs of attachment. Does it just pull off, or is there a hidden clip/trigger to release it? Any advice would be appreciated.
