    Rear door jammed.

    Hi eventually used a hole saw to expose the lock connecting rod. A quick yank of the top rod and door open. Soaked all moving parts in wd40. All seems ok now. Glued the disc of plastic back in.

    My 2006 x trail rear o/s door is jammed. The solenoid works. I have tried the methods in case of the child lock being actuated but no joy there. it remains stuck from both inside and out.Is there a way of releasing it without destroying the door trim?
