  2. Not on late models as it an EU requirement as I understand it. Mine is set up with a shortcut to turn audio warning off by pressing control switch and Okay.
  3. Just purchased another Japanese branded car (3rd one) a 2025 Qashqai e-Power with 5200 miles on the clock (ex demo from main dealer). First one built here in the UK - the Mazda 6 and Honda Accord both shipped to the UK. The later two proved ultra reliable so we'll see how built in Britain goes - well I hope! Any tips on economical driving techniques for e-Power would be appreciate. TIA
  4. Hi Nissan Lovers !!! I'm LA I'm wondering if anyone out there loves the 2001 5-speed as much as I do. The one I have, sadly is in need of some major engine work that I cannot afford to do. I've been lovingly taking care of it for all these years, but the engine work will cost more than I can afford. It's got a 8 month old clutch, 8 month old Michelin Defender tires, the seats are pristine as is the interior. Is there anyone in Colorado that "might" be interested ? I hate to let it go, but need to at this time. LA
  5. I’m a former owner of three 280Z cars. Although I’ve also owned early Porsche 356a, 356c and 911 cars, the Z cars rank highest in my heart. Now the owner of. 2012 Nissan Rogue and it has all of the issues that it is famous for - but I refuse to give up. So, I will be questioning the forum regarding my CVT repair attempts, codes and results. Here goes!!

  9. Hello from Denmark. I have a 2012 K13 with engine stop/start function, does anyone know how to disable or to remember your setting. I would like not to have to push the button every time. Thank you IMG_8209.heic
  10. Hello, I wonder if anyone has had the same issue as me. The steering emits a squeak when it there is moisture in the air, so during the warm months since I got the car in June, no noise at all. You can imagine what it has been like recently since it has been raining.... The forecourt I bought the car from has there own garage and they apparently have greased the steering joint, both side since they replaced the gearbox (under warranty) I am going back to them with this continuing issue, but I wanted to see if anyone on here has had the same issue and what it was? Thanks.

  14. In the UK there is a windscreen company called Autoglass and they have all the equipment and necessary knowledge to set up the ADAS If there is somewhere similar in Sweden that you could take the car to for a check and if necessary get them to set it up correctly
  15. Thanks for the tip, I will check them out. Cheers.
  16. First thing I would have suggested is fitting a new good quality battery. Also, not entirely sure if maybe the stored battery voltage needs resetting with a scan tool
  17. Hi ..... welcome to the Club It's a perfect car for local use more so than motorway but it should be mostly reliable and also economical Enjoy the forums
  18. It does sounds like a loose or worn belt but equally I have found so many of the new belts nowadays are more silicon based than rubber based compound. They slip for a past time until they get warm. Try to stick to genuine manufacture belt (avoid anything made in china) Check also the tensioner is okay and if worn then replace this at the same time
  19. I bought this: Tuqiang Car Seat Covers For Nissan X- Trail 2014-20 5 Seat Full Set PU Leather but the purchase fell through so it is now up for sale. It is not used. It is listed on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/297629455187
  20. I just tried taking down my spare tire to check the air pressure. Needless to say, I don't think it had ever been out. Due to the cold climate (Salted winter roads, Northern Canada), the bolt was very rusty and try as I might, no lube was enough and I snapped the bolt in the "hook" assembly that holds the spare tire carrier up under the car. Does anyone have a usable bolt and hook assembly that they'd be willing to sell?
  21. there are some posts on google search relating to the PO409 code I would first start by running some cleaning solution through the fuel and give the engine a very long high revs run to burn off any excess carbon that has collected in the EGR or Intake Manifold
  22. mostly timing chains are reliable if the correct servicing and maintenance is carried out when its specified and using quality oils and filters Please let us know how it goes !
  23. possibly air mass meter is causing the jerking - try removing, cleaning and replacing Another possible cause could be the throttle pedal sensor needs replacing? Have you turned off the air conditioning as this will run a fan on start up
  24. thanks for updating us and please let us know how it proceeds
  25. The Qashqais have only got the fuel flap protecting access to the fuel inlet. Is it possible to fit a locking fuel cap inside the body flap? If so anyone know of where to get one. please.
  26. Hallo den habe ich erfolgreich eingebaut: L7808 Spannungsregler 8V DC gruss Michael
  27. I would check the coolant pressure cap as my first point of call - replace if necessary as its quite cheap and take 30 seconds to do (only release the cap when the engine has cooled down)
  28. So, a little update on ours! We've managed to get a warranty replacement agreed via Ancaster and Nissan UK. We had to prove service history and it's going to take 6-8 weeks because there's a part out of stock (they've already had it 6 weeks). It took some arguing but definitely worth pursuing, especially if you've maintained your vehicle.
