  2. My 2016 Nissan Leaf is taking longer than usual to charge on my home 7kW wallbox. Has anyone with the same model year run into slow-charging issues, and was it caused by the onboard charger, the wallbox, or a problem with the charging port?

  4. Sorry, just had another look at the symbol and it has the two lines up the side which would suggest that it may be to do with lane guidance. But still worth checking that the rear bumper for sensors (easily identifiable by their circular shape around the size of a 50pence piece. If it is lane guidance then it sounds like the ADAS is playing up and needs resetting.

  6. Hi @Sam Deano64 - Welcome to the club. Any aftermarket dampers such as Koni will improve the handling over the standard equipment. Worth running a search on eBay for reputable brands and relatively easy to fit and you will see an immediate improvement
  7. Hi @Isaac - welcome to the club I would put money on the hybrid system kicking in and out which can cause a slight 'stumble' when it cycles so wouldn't worry about it unless it gets any worse.
  8. I know there are boot organisers on the market that suit most cars but not sure which one would be best to even if they custom make them to suit the vehicle. Worth doing a search on eBay for what is available for the Qashqai
  9. Hi @Bebop Cowboy ...welcome to the Club Had a few X-Trails myself and they are superb to drive - never really tried them off-road though. Good to have you onboard!

  11. I would be measuring the glow plugs (old and then compare to new) at least so you could identify which cylinder(s) is at fault.

New to pathfinders. After doing some light modifications for a bit of off road use and was wondering what stealth winches people are using. Would like to keep the original bumper. Any guides about. Tia

    Welcome to the club @Rhino
  17. Hi Trevor, thanks for your suggestion. I'm not all that savvy with this internet thing. I'm with Orange in France. I presume when the Micra is asking for my password they mean the long list of letter and numbers that came with my love of. I have had to use that to get the internet on my tablet and laptop . Is there any other password?
  18. What is the actual issue with the car? Also, is it engine speed or vehicle speed sensor you are looking at?
  19. I know... so nothing. But, Thanks.
  20. I use iCarSoft scanner so not sure about the Topdon but most scan tools are of the same standard and will read and delete fault codes. Beyond that, scanners such as the iCarSoft can also code injectors, reset base values and quite a bit more
  21. The only thing I can think of is when you lock/unlock and hold the button down for a period of time then the windows will lower or raise? Otherwise, not sure what could be causing it to drop the windows
  22. Can you turn of off the electric mirror fold , so is it possible to move them in/out manually ? So I can get the car in / out of the garage
  23. I don't have any faith whatsover with the current clowns in power so I wouldn't do anything hastily such as changing your car as it is always likely to change in the near future
  24. I have the joy of owning a 2014 Pathfinder with the CVT transmission. Was acting terrible, bad lurching, when shifting into D or reverse it would pause for about 5 seconds then grab. It also barelyl got to speed, so was a safety issue. After some research and error code P0776 Pressure Control Solonoid B, I replaced the valve body, with one off Amazon that in the description says "There is no software CD, itis installed directly" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FMFB9FVM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title Well after installing that with new CVT fluid, it has a very violent shake (judder maybe?) when starting to drive maybe 1 mph. New codes: P0746 Pressure Control solonoid A ( seems odd for a new valve body) P0847 Trans fluid pressure circuit b low (i would think this is on the valve body also) P084C Trans fluid pressure sensor H circuit Low, and using CVTx50 on a tablet, see the dreaded judder code: P17F0. So, I would like to know, is it mandatory to get a CD with a new valve body? Then how come several I have seen on Amazon and Ebay say it doesn't need one, or no mention at all? What about those decent reviews. It sounds like it is plug n play based on what I have seen so far. Yet on the other, need a CD, take to dealer $$$$. Can anyone please help me sort all this out?
  25. Which ‘control switch’?
  26. The dealership should walk you through the car if you have bought through them. Best to take someone along with you to aid your memory, I know because I get told things and promptly forget them :-)
  27. Its such a scam and see it all the time - easy money for the garages. It is possible to fit replacement rubbers if all they are is perished. As long as they are not perforated and leaking grease or if there is any play in the joints then it is perfectly serviceable. Advise on the MOT sheet but not necessary to replace otherwise. Recently fitted a replacement lower arm on wife's Juke and then replaced it a year later as the first (cheaper one) knocked the joint out in no time - more expensive one, quite a bit heavier duty for the N/S location and almost twice the weight. An easy job to carry out yourself and definitely not £1200 worth of repairs. Kept the old rubbers to use if necessary in the future. :-)
