  2. Hi all, Looking for some assistance. Recently encountered an issue with my 17 plate juke tekna where the power drops off in gears 4, 5 & 6 when trying to reach above 45mph - eventually reaches 60-70mph but have to feather the acceleration pedal and when foot is slammed to the ground and going uphill the revs start to drop and the car slows down as if there’s no power first instance the amber engine management light came on but didn’t have the OBD2 reader to scan and check. Car has since had a major service and fault cleared but has returned with no engine management light OBD2 reader showing fault P0380(glow plug/heater circuit A) and P1453(manufacturer control) assuming manufacturer control is limp mode? But surely any fault that drops the car into limp mode would throw up other lights on the dash attached pics of OBD2 codes any help would be appreciated, cheers

  4. Here's a problem to bake your noodle. 1995 k11 Micra, not been driven for a month, 4 new problems have appeared, all lights. 1) left headlight not working. 2) left indicator telltale light not working, either in telltale or hazard mode, external lights all working and relay clicking. 3) handbrake warning light not working. 4) reversing light not working. I'm going to do all the usual checks, starting with the external bulbs, but these systems can't have anything in common, can they?
  5. Sorry, I haven't got a Nissan yet, but looking at some used Qashqai's. :) I'm not sure what all the models are yet, so could a kind owner please educate me?
  6. What colour? there is a set of black seats on eBay at the min. item number is 316640688205
  7. I would advise someone look at the connections under both front seats for the SRS seatbelt pretensioners as they usually flag up a fault if the connection is poor
  8. Hi, My mum has a 2006 1.4 Micra SVE that has a fault with the seat belt in that the dash light comes on intermittently. We’ve been advised by the dealer that the fault is with the buckle(driver side) but the parts are no longer available so i would have to try and track one down which i did on ebay but after 3 trys they were all faulty, i found another through a breakers but Nissan mechanical said its the wrong one, even though it fitted and has not gone off yet. Can anyone offer any advise on how to fix this or maybe where i can find the correct part, thanks.

  11. It would seem, and I would wholeheartedly agree. Although, technically, you could leave all previous weights on a wheel for forever, and just keep balancing it with additional weights as necessary!??? 😂 Not the case here though. All the weights are fresh new. They put both push on weights and stick on weights. Push on weights went to the inside of each wheel. Stick on weights are to the outside behind the spokes on the aluminum mag wheels. And.. as stated.. opposite each other in three of the four, and about 2 hours on the clock location off opposite on the fourth. It’s very weird. I have personally balanced a lot of motorcycle wheels in my life.. and it’s always one weight.

  13. Thanks mate will do. Need to find a few bits and bobs but the car is mechanically sound.
  14. Thanks again. I’ve put in new batteries and tried the other fob for a while before. It is so random I am wondering if the door keyless buttons send a signal like the fob or they are hardwired. I’m thinking possibly the rf receiver is getting old and cranky like the rest of us….
  15. no that seems fine as long as the lights switch on and off I wonder if the drivers door lock is faulty as it should control the rest of the doors locking and unlocking The fob may be faulty but try a quality battery and also check any microswitches for the buttons that may have become detached from the circuit board
  16. Tried all the doors, they all put light on with a delay. Boot and tailgate both put light on and straight off. Is this the issue?
  17. Thanks Trevor I will test this tonight.
  18. It is necessary to remove all weights if out of balance before fitting new ones when replacing tyres If the amount of weights are too large then it is sometimes best to spin the tyre around on the rim to cancel out the imbalance
  19. I would check the door switch which signals the system that the door is opened or closed and can trigger the alarm if wrong signal given Open in each door including bonnet, load area and all others to see if the interior light comes on and goes out after a while
  20. Hi....welcome to the Club
  21. Hi....welcome to the forum Good to have you onboard
  22. oh very nice car ! Welcome to the forum and keep us updated on the progress
  23. I would start by checking the electrical connection into the motor and if it spins up when you turn everything on the there's the problem
  24. Any idea what it could be though?
  25. I would start by removing the glovebox to see how much access you gain, if not much then continue to remove more dashboard components
  26. After some help. My air blower is intermittent, some tomes it works sometimes it doesn't. Fuse has been checked, not sure if a new fan is required? Do you get to it by taking the glovebox out rather than the whole dashboard?
  27. I am looking for an idea of what the cost of replacing both front and back brake pads and discs for Nissan Qashqai 2019 model ? Thanks
  28. Hi. (This site isn’t allowing me to select the Micra Forum). Just acquired (legally) a 2013 K13 Micra, which came without parking sensors. Online options are so numerous, what a minefield! Any advice out there? Anything gratefully received.
