  2. In the UK there is a windscreen company called Autoglass and they have all the equipment and necessary knowledge to set up the ADAS If there is somewhere similar in Sweden that you could take the car to for a check and if necessary get them to set it up correctly
  3. Just out of the blue. No prior incident or anything out of the ordinary.

  5. Thanks for the tip, I will check them out. Cheers.
  6. I have used a company before that specialise in aftermarket audio replacement https://www.iceboxauto.com/nissan-murano-2015-18-gps-navi-android-auto-11-carplay-oem-style-radio-ni072 Not sure if the one listed is the same style as it states it for a later model?
  7. First thing I would have suggested is fitting a new good quality battery. Also, not entirely sure if maybe the stored battery voltage needs resetting with a scan tool
  8. `when did the fault start - following an accident or body damage?
  9. Hi everyone, I’m having a really annoying problem with my 2019 Nissan Qashqai J11 (petrol). All the safety and radar-based systems have started to act up – the front collision warning, side collision, and blind spot warning all trigger in sequence. The error messages appear, then reset, and come back roughly every 10 seconds, no matter what I do. In the beginning, it only happened once after the car had been parked for about a day, but now it happens constantly whenever the car is running. The ADAS control unit has already been replaced by an official Nissan workshop, but the issue remains exactly the same. They’ve spent two full days diagnosing it without finding a clear fault. No specific sensor fault codes were stored either. I’ve checked the camera wiring behind the rear-view mirror, since I know I’ve previously moved that cable slightly because it was creaking. I’ve opened the cover and inspected the connector — everything looked clean and fine, but I haven’t done more than that. The sequence of warnings always starts with the front collision alert, then the side and blind spot systems follow a few seconds later. The battery has been replaced by Nissan already so that is ruled out. At this point, I’m stuck. Has anyone seen similar behaviour on the J11? https://share.icloud.com/photos/04aB5DH7H_CRWKt8RlSVHB7lQ

  12. Hi, new member here, I'm Simon Currently have a 2024 Nissan Qashqai but previously had a Juke (2021-24), 61 plate Micra (2013-2021), 08 plate Micra (2009-13), 05 plate Micra (2005-08) and 52 plate Micra (2002-05) The missing year in all that I had a Fiat Punto but we don't talk about that (worst car i ever owned!)
  13. Hi As the title suggests, I'm looking to replace the CD/Nav unit in my 2009 Murano. I'm in New Zealand, and this vehicle (which I purchased a year ago & love) is a Japanese import. The language on the entertainment unit is in Japanese (although portions of the dash face are in English, which I find strange in itself!), and I want to change the screen display language to English. Don't want to use an after market replacement as the AC controls run through the existing one, and I would be flying blind if this wasn't coming up on the screen to show me what's happening. A local parts company has a factory replacement unit, which they say is in English, but in the discussion the parts company rep mentioned about the control unit for language being located elsewhere (as in outside of the CD/Nav unit) and swapping out the unit itself may not fix this. Does anyone have any info if this is the case, or general info on swapping the CD/Nav unit out? Thanks.
  14. I have a 2014 Nissan X-Trail automatic 1.6 diesel. The problem is that I’m getting a “system fault” warning, and at the same time, both the start-stop system and the cruise control are deactivated. I should note that the battery is new.
  15. Hi ..... welcome to the Club It's a perfect car for local use more so than motorway but it should be mostly reliable and also economical Enjoy the forums
  16. It does sounds like a loose or worn belt but equally I have found so many of the new belts nowadays are more silicon based than rubber based compound. They slip for a past time until they get warm. Try to stick to genuine manufacture belt (avoid anything made in china) Check also the tensioner is okay and if worn then replace this at the same time

  18. Hello, my partner drives a Micra DIGs. It has approximately 70k miles. Upon starting it there is a distinct belt or tensioner/pulley squeal.. it comes from the front end of the engine. It does go away fairly fast as soon as the revs go up. I know I should change the belt and see but I have two questions: 1) does anyone know the exact part code or any to the right type of belt? 2) is it doable for someone with basic knowledge/tools and space? I have changed drive belts/tensioners/plugs coils/filters oil etc in a c7 corvette and in a zl1 camaro on my driveway but those (being yanks) can be very easy cars to work on and didn’t require any big parts to come out. (Only fuse boxes/filters etc). thanks in advance guys
  19. I bought this: Tuqiang Car Seat Covers For Nissan X- Trail 2014-20 5 Seat Full Set PU Leather but the purchase fell through so it is now up for sale. It is not used. It is listed on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/297629455187
  20. I just tried taking down my spare tire to check the air pressure. Needless to say, I don't think it had ever been out. Due to the cold climate (Salted winter roads, Northern Canada), the bolt was very rusty and try as I might, no lube was enough and I snapped the bolt in the "hook" assembly that holds the spare tire carrier up under the car. Does anyone have a usable bolt and hook assembly that they'd be willing to sell?
  21. I picked up a 2015 Micra S for a commuter car. I love it and look forward to tinkering with it.
  22. there are some posts on google search relating to the PO409 code I would first start by running some cleaning solution through the fuel and give the engine a very long high revs run to burn off any excess carbon that has collected in the EGR or Intake Manifold
  23. mostly timing chains are reliable if the correct servicing and maintenance is carried out when its specified and using quality oils and filters Please let us know how it goes !
  24. possibly air mass meter is causing the jerking - try removing, cleaning and replacing Another possible cause could be the throttle pedal sensor needs replacing? Have you turned off the air conditioning as this will run a fan on start up
  25. thanks for updating us and please let us know how it proceeds
  26. The Qashqais have only got the fuel flap protecting access to the fuel inlet. Is it possible to fit a locking fuel cap inside the body flap? If so anyone know of where to get one. please.
  27. Nissan are looking into my new car that was not giving the advertised range of 759 miles on delivery as they said it should (only giving 660 a 100 mile discrepancy. Car delivered with full fuel tank and only delivery mileage of 10 miles). second tank fill still only 660 range. Awaiting their investigation!
  28. Hi all, Got a 2014 d40, eml came on for egr so has been replaced. However eml came on again after clearing faults with PO409? What could be the fault? Wiring or something more sinister
