Oh nice easy fix then - could have done quite a bit of damage to the electronics if it had come off completely. Glad to hear its fine now.

Issue with 2014 Nissan Note Boot Lock
I think possibly the same as when you take the fob apart it is a known fault on some of the fobs for the lock/unlock buttons on the fob (*which can be separate to the boot lock) become detached from the circuit board, (*depending on which fob you have). You can repair the fob with a kit from eBay and as long as you have soldering skills and a steady hand then its a very cheap job to do https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=2014+nissan+note+fob+repair+kit+microswitches&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_odkw=2014+nissan+note+fob+repair+kit&_osacat=0

Front wheels not spinning freely
This would be transmission drag generated by the various components in the transfer box being rotated with one or more wheels on the ground. Equally there is transmission wind-up which can be dangerous if undoing wheel nuts and the wheel is free to turn with tremendous force which can break an arm so be careful if the car has been driven around on tarmac and with sharp turning (such as driving onto a driveway).

2005 Primera PO171 Fuel System Lean fault
I would start with any serviceable items that are overdue, oil, filter, air filter, fuel filter, etc then I would also be checking for the condition of rubber vacuum and breather hoses to see if they are split or perished. This can usually be identified by a hissing noise with the engine running at idle. Replace parts if you find any damage to the hoses or gaskets around the intake system (inlet manifold, etc) Alternatively, it may be something as simple as an exhaust leak - place a rag over the rear silencer tailpipe with the engine at idle speed (outside in the fresh air to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning) and if you hear a hissing from the exhaust front section, manifold or oxygen sensor(s) then that is your fault.

nissan pulsar 2013 C 12 CVT issues - Sydney Australia
Reconditioned transmission would be the best way forwards or if not a secondhand used transmission from a wreckers yard as it may have been replaced before the vehicle was scrapped. Either way, ensure that it is the proper fluid going into the replacement transmission and change regularly (before it is due)

I thought it may be a radar sensor for police speed cameras as they are usually mounted on top of the dashboard

Always make sure the engine is maintained at regular or even before its due to ensure the oil quality remains in good order, especially when it comes to the smaller engines which can generate quite a bit of heat when working hard. Make sure it has the best quality oil you can afford.

Strange electrical issues
I had rats chew through some wiring earlier in the year, the car wouldn't start, the garage repaired the damage and couldn't find any others that were chewed. The radio going off was happening before that though.

this really sounds like an earthing issue or something has been chewing on wiring. Do you live in the countryside?

Strange electrical issues
Hello. I have a 2015 Juke Tekna (diesel with auto start/stop) with some electrical issues that are ..odd. All have been happening for well over a year and nobody can find the problem. The issues are; Radio unit loses all power then comes back on. It happens randomly and can be off anywhere from 5 seconds to 30 minutes. It often comes back on if I slow down and put the clutch in to change gear. The auto start stop light randomly flashes green when driving. The battery light blinks red on occasion when stationary / idling at lights. Headlights are noticeably dimming/brightening like a pulse when driving, especially when the radio unit is messing around. Key battery low warning light comes on often even if it has a new battery in. The car drives fine. It's had a software update from Nissan, they couldn't find any other issues. My local garage has looked at it multiple times and cannot locate a problem. It's had 2 new batteries in the last 2 years and the alternator has been checked when I requested it, it was fine. I'm out of ideas, my local garage is out of ideas, it's more annoying than anything especially the radio/nav being unusable a lot of the time. Anyone experienced any of this before and found a solution?

Front wheels not spinning freely
I have a 2013 J10 4WD . I have jacked the front wheels up, transmission in neutral but the wheels are not spinning freely, as they should. I can feel the transmission moving as I rotate the wheel. Is there a known issue or does anyone have any idea what could be the issue? Thanks

- 2005 Primera PO171 Fuel System Lean fault
2005 Nissan Primera Engine fault appears saying PO171 Fuel System Lean fault and fuel economy has skyrocketed. 2 mechanics have said can be many things and don't want to really get involved. Anyone else had similar issues? Also key fob not working even after changing battery. Has been playing up for a while where I need to make a clicking noise when key is taken out of ignition but now is not working. Thanks in advance- Earlier
- nissan pulsar 2013 C 12 CVT issues - Sydney Australia
Hey all, new to this forum. My partner's pulsar has done 112,000 klms and the CVT is broken and rattling. We dont have the $6,000 to fix it. What other options do I have? eg 2nd hand tranny, reconditioned tranny, repair. Any other advice? Rob.Robbennettcolyton joined the communityT.S joined the community- Nissan Serena
Turns out the second device is part of the security system, some kind of sensor. - 2005 Primera PO171 Fuel System Lean fault
