I have a 2011 Nissan Pathfinder is there any lower kids for? It

Hi everybody! Nissan Qashqai 2017 1,6 diesel, cvt. About 86000 miles So the car starts and runs fine, but I noticed a slight knocking upon coldstart. Almost as if the engine is having trouble building oil pressure. For about 4-5 seconds. And I have crankcase pressure opening the oil fillercap + some smoke. So a Pcv problem I thought. Changed the pcv and the knocking upon starting might have been slightly less. But still crankcase pressure. If I disconnect the hose on the pcv and blow in it, there are not resistance. And I can’t find any defects on other hoses. I notice a sound from the airfilter box, as if the engine is sucking air from a leak in the box. Dismantled everything but can’t find any leak. Some oil in the hoses and around the filler cap, but nothing alarming. Haven’t done a compression test as it’s not a high mileage car. Full service book. Drives 40 + 40 miles everyday. Can’t upload film as it’s to big.. Anyone who has experienced the same problem.

Sounds like they have arrived a diagnostic conclusion which seems quite reasonable. Not sure why it cuts out though, but sometimes this can occur when the engine revs 'stumble' Please let us know how it all goes

If it is coming from the interior (e.g. back of the steering wheel) then it could be the SRS rotary coupler as they can suffer from moisture and dirt ingress over time

I used Lens on my old Alphard years ago.. worked a treat. once settings set up then let it be.

I would use google lens and translate functions to define which controls do what

Only done 10 miles but loving it already. We did have a Kadjar as a company car for 2 years so I had an idea of what it would be like.

I bought an Elgrand converted to a campervan. Very nice job, but all the controls have Japanese text and the handbook I got doesn't help much. Does anyone know anything about the Elgrand? Thanks David

Hi I have a 2017 Nissan Qashqai J11 St auto petrol model. The orange malfunction indicator light has been on for a while now. I have had the vehicle several times to an auto electrician who has reset it and the code was P0303 with the message that the 3rd cylinder is fisfiring. I have also had it to the local Nissan dealer who again reset it with the same error code showing up. It has had a new coil ignition pack put in as well as a standard service with new spark plugs. It has recently started to shudder a bit when driving and the motor has cut out and stopped when I am stationery. It restarts again when I turn it over. I have taken it to another mechanic and they have swapped the 3rd and 4th injectors to see it that would make a difference. The malfunction light has stayed off, however they got me to take the car on a drive at a speed of 100klms to see what happened. In doing this, the light came back on for a few seconds and went off again but the motor cut out again when I stopped at an intersection. They have rescanned it again and it is now showing that the 4th cylinder is fisfiring which indicates that the injector/s need replacing. Just wondering if anyone else has had this situation before and what the outcome was. Thank you. Debbie. Queensland

Not on late models as it an EU requirement as I understand it. Mine is set up with a shortcut to turn audio warning off by pressing control switch and Okay.

Just purchased another Japanese branded car (3rd one) a 2025 Qashqai e-Power with 5200 miles on the clock (ex demo from main dealer). First one built here in the UK - the Mazda 6 and Honda Accord both shipped to the UK. The later two proved ultra reliable so we'll see how built in Britain goes - well I hope! Any tips on economical driving techniques for e-Power would be appreciate. TIA

Hi Nissan Lovers !!! I'm LA I'm wondering if anyone out there loves the 2001 5-speed as much as I do. The one I have, sadly is in need of some major engine work that I cannot afford to do. I've been lovingly taking care of it for all these years, but the engine work will cost more than I can afford. It's got a 8 month old clutch, 8 month old Michelin Defender tires, the seats are pristine as is the interior. Is there anyone in Colorado that "might" be interested ? I hate to let it go, but need to at this time. LA

I’m a former owner of three 280Z cars. Although I’ve also owned early Porsche 356a, 356c and 911 cars, the Z cars rank highest in my heart. Now the owner of. 2012 Nissan Rogue and it has all of the issues that it is famous for - but I refuse to give up. So, I will be questioning the forum regarding my CVT repair attempts, codes and results. Here goes!!

Picking up my new to me Qashqai on Saturday. It's a 2017 1.5 dci Tekna. Previous car was a Nissan Note that, for various reasons, I was never happy with ! 🤷

This is my first Nissan experience; I have only driven 400 miles in the last 3 weeks. Not even fully run in yet, however so far so good and have been pleasantly surprised

Hello, I wonder if anyone has had the same issue as me. The steering emits a squeak when it there is moisture in the air, so during the warm months since I got the car in June, no noise at all. You can imagine what it has been like recently since it has been raining.... The forecourt I bought the car from has there own garage and they apparently have greased the steering joint, both side since they replaced the gearbox (under warranty) I am going back to them with this continuing issue, but I wanted to see if anyone on here has had the same issue and what it was? Thanks.

In the UK there is a windscreen company called Autoglass and they have all the equipment and necessary knowledge to set up the ADAS If there is somewhere similar in Sweden that you could take the car to for a check and if necessary get them to set it up correctly
