  1. Not sure exactly how much but I would definitely say more than £200! :D
  2. Hi and welcome to the club! :)
  3. Could be a sticking idle control valve?
  4. Take a look here. Seems to have some really good info: http://www.justanswer.com/uk-nissan/39npi-power-loss-problem-nissan-x-trail-2-2-td-sv.html
  5. Any luck with the lambda sensor?
  6. I guess your best bet is to keep a look out for a scrap/donor car?
  7. Just a thought but lambda/O2 sensors can sometimes cause cars to run too 'rich' so may be worth a look!
  8. Lovely car can't wait to see it fully finished. Keep up the good work! B)
  9. Have you tried a fluid change using genuine fluid?
  10. Paul, All models are welcome :)
  11. Cataclean is pretty good stuff. Hopefully this will help you out! At least it's gone up a bit so far!
  12. Does seem like quite a drop. Let us know how you get on with the fuel system cleaner. Could just be a dirty sensor or something causing it to run rich.
  13. Pearl white is a lovely colour. Try and get some photos up when you can!
  14. Strange problem not heard of that before. Have you checked the bluetooth settings on your phone to make sure you have allowed it to share data with the car?
  15. Hi Pat welcome to the club! :)
  16. Check the wiring that goes from the main body to the tailgate. Can be a common problem on some Micra models
  17. What sort of fuel economy were you getting previously? Have you tried any fuel system treatments?
  18. Hi welcome to the club! Have you picked it up yet? :)
  19. I believe this is quite a common problem on that vehicle. I have heard mentions of the 'glow plug control unit' so may be worth checking this out.
  20. Welcome to the club! :) MPG will drop a little in the cooler months this is to be expected. It sounds like you're doing everything right with tyre pressures etc and make sure you service it regularly.
  21. If it's the clutch release bearing then it's the same as replacing the clutch with the whole assembly coming out. It can be good practice to change the clutch at the same time or at least examining the wear. Shouldn't be worn out after that little mileage though. Have you tried getting a garage or mechanic to diagnose it for you yet?
  22. Firstly welcome to the club! :) Normally if a batter light is flickering, it can point to the alternator being at fault, however I would have thought your mechanic would have picked up on this. Definitely sound electrical though. Could be a throttle position sensor or similar? I'm only making an educated guess though!
  23. Have you tried plugging in a code reader to see if there are any error codes present on the ECU?
  24. Could be something like the clutch release bearing? Is the car still under warranty?
  25. Hi and welcome to the club! :)
