  1. Ripped half the dash out. For those who follow, I found it on the righthand side of the centre console just below steering wheel level.
  2. Hi guys My Terrano is responding to the fob but I can't get it to disable the immobiliser. I have this fob shown below. The flash codes are usually: Flashing once per second - immobiliser engauged. Turning the key to one stage before cranking will make it go solid. One press on the left hand button will make the light go out and engine will start. At the moment pressing the left hand button is not turning the light out / disarming the immobiliser. This is happened before when someone has messed with the car without going through the proper sequence! I have managed to clear it before by randomly pressing buttons but no joy this time. I know the fob is working as pressing the right hand button when the ignition is off will turn the led off. But won't start. Pressing the left hand button will make the light flash very fast for 5 secs, then return to a flashing once per second as normal. I don't know what is going on by doing this but it doesn't seem to doing anything helpful. I've tried disconnecting the battery, turning the ign on /off x10, pumping the acc pedal x10 but no change. It's an M reg that cost me £280 so I'd rather just disable the immobiliser unless someone has another bright ideas? I believe it's a NATS 1 system? I have instructions on how to disable it if someone can tell me where the unit might be located on this car?
