4 wheel drive was entirely my fault. I forgot to put it into neutral 1st lol. It was panic over the other issues.

I very recently purchases a 2008 Mamouth from Basil Thomas cars in Hereford. I was stupid as I didn't do a full test and there was very little paperwork. She blows excesive black smoke yet all fluids and filters were changed and there is evidence to suggest this. With the excption of the oil. It is black as tar and weak as water. The guy insisted he was not stupid and flushed it twice. Now I find that the aircon does not work despite being assured it had been "Gassed UP". And today I find the 4WD Low forward does not work. It only goes 4WD High. Although it does say on the dash 4WD low. I can easily get up to 50mph and still accelerate. So i turned it back to 2WD. Without stating the obvious as my personal situation atm is I am of weak disposition due to illness. What are we looking at please? Especially the smoking. Could it be something as stupid as a faulty fuel filter? I know the guy had to change the FPF which delayed the purchase by 2 weeks. Thanks in advance Thenoname

Hi my name is Peter and I have had several Nissans including a 350z that I invested almost £60k in turning into a roadrace car. At 540 bhp supercharged it was the 1st right hand car in the world to have this particular yanky superharger installed. they told me so as they never sold them to a right hand country before. I sold it via tradelink in Kings Langly for £20k back last year. It was heart breaking as I am a disabled ex serviceman and I just could not get in and out of it anymore. So I went back to a Pathfinder. This one being a 2008 mamouth Auto. I may have bought a pig, but to mad to talk about it atm. To much is wrong with it yet it has a genuine 65000 miles on it. I travelled 5 hrs to get it and never did a full visual due to my disability and the bad weather. Anyway, hey ho thanks for having me. peter
