  1. Hi all, just looking at a 2003 Micra (K12?) to buy. Passenger seat (3 door) won't fold forwards, lever feels loose as though not attached to cable or snapped. Is this a common issue and if so any advice on how to fix? many thanks
  2. Hi Trevor, thanks for the welcome. We'll go for the 1.0, still unsure why a smaller engine/ lower spec and lower insurance group should be the same or higher cost for insurance than a 1.2! I'm going to post re the passenger seat (3 door). The seat fold mechanism doesn't work (cable loose/snapped?). Any idea on a fix and repair difficulty? thanks again, Paul
  3. Hi all, looking to get a 2003-05 Micra for my daughter to learn in and drive if/when(!) she passes her test. I assumed that the 1.0e would be cheapest, listed as group 6, as the 1.2 was listed as group 10 (bigger engine etc). However checking various price comparison websites they all come up with the 1.0 being MORE expensive to insure than the 1.2, by a few hundred pounds. Anyone know why or come across this before? It's driving(!) us bonkers as we have easy access to a 1.0 to buy from a friend in great condition with full history and assumed it would be the cheapest option, now we're not so sure. Grateful for any explanation or experience of how to reduce.
