Hey guysand gals, can any one tell me if my 2005 Almera n16 ,sve ,,1.5 98 bhp has abs brake system fitted as standard or not ? If it's not standard on this model how do I find out if I have abs or not ? I,m ordering rear pads and discs so I need to know before purchasing them .

Well I've done some research of my own online and it turns out that I don;t need a code. The cd unit will only work with my car as it's married to the ecu of the vehicle it's not coded as such. If someone tries to put it into another vehicle it won't be recognised by the ecu rendering it useless, unless it's reset to delivery mode by clarion themselves . I unplugged my battery to test this out, after reconnecting the battery the system went into wait mode until the ecu checked for compatibily then the radio worked fine .

Hi all I've been advised this is the place to come for answers regarding Nissan cars so here goes. Can anyone answer this question please, I own an almera n16 sve 1.5 / 2005 model and the cd p[layer is not working { cd stuck and won't eject } so as a result I'm going to remove it for repair . Unfortunately I purchased the car off my father in law and he gave me three radio code cards { he has owned a few nissans } and he can't remember which one , if any is the correct one for my car.The car is fitted with sat nav and the clarion cy460 cd unit ,nissan part number 28185 bn810 /model number pn-2598m. So when I remove the cd player will I have to enter the radio code when I put it back into the car or will it be automatically picked up by the cars ecu as it's the original radio for the vehicle . I've read somewhere that the car will recognise the unit and no code will need to be entered. If the code does need to be entered how is this performed , reading the manual it states to use buttons 1 to 4 pressing each button the correct amount of times for individual numbers then to press the ^ button to load but my car doesn't seem to have this button so how do I enter the code . Do I use the sat nav/ radio knob with enter written on it the knob in between the map and info button . Many thanks in advance for any advice, it will be greatly received thankyou
