i would say its a case for the ombudsmen and certainly run it past citizens advice to get some more guidance on pursuing a claim If unsuccesful then a secondhand engine (with the revised cooling system parts) may be the most financially advisable way forwards- 6 replies

I guess you could swap the inner joint for the original one that will fit the gearbox, as a last resort?
-
I would definitely advise to return the car to the garage who fitted the clutch for them to diagnose the issue - could be an adjustment required or a faulty part, etc?

Hi - welcome to the Club Fine looking Juke, not so sure I would manage to keep that paintwork clean all the time 🙂 Good to have you onboard!
-
Make sure all sensors on the grill and windscreen areas are clean as dirt obscuring the sensors can result in this occuring

Hi Lewis - welcome to the club Looks like a good spec Navara Major thing to have checked is the chassis for corrosion or cracks and believe the dealers have a recall and modified brackets to weld in (if it hasn't already been done)

I would say it is more likely to be a gummed up turbo vanes fault which can be rectified by cleaning the turbo with a specialist cleaning solution (link below) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/292493130747?_skw=turbo+cleaner&itmmeta=01JTSXMZ9VE9ZW9F2H1DCM6423&hash=item4419f2fbfb%3Ag%3Ab9sAAOSwYutasp0A&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAAA0FkggFvd1GGDu0w3yXCmi1fpV%2F8bmO6dppPkpUyUyyrTVatA%2BtxVHfyIQW%2BFrQfBfOZwB9GXDgirF%2FZx1wYQ5QWHnndTFW8dxHQnQwE2DJPM593%2FytgJBS5MLBDp8GWH%2FZutClKfIZWQSfoKddANZ7zaeBnZAo6VVmNaP6AcQjlZrAqIw0vsohppQpa1TRGcxd4sUcRwemDzU%2FgJBiFCwMC0j2OXXqnhoSWOhG9lxLcC0VLM4FFWpJ0NKLa%2FFsrMcFmbgwWZs209wAa7IvVnY8g%3D|tkp%3ABlBMUIL1073WZQ&keyword=turbo+cleaner&sacat=0&relatedSearch=true Once you have cleaned it and the vanes are free to move then a good italian tune-up should blast out any residue and carbon and should then run smoothly

I would say that is an air conditioning system sensor - possibly system pressure sensor?
-
okay, best bet really.....let us know how you get on with it

Hi .... and welcome to the Club Great to have you onboard and feel free to post and answer any questions you feel able to answer. The Juke is a great car, my wife has one and just keeps going with minimal repairs (if any) but always maintained to keep it reliable.

I would have a go yourself - switch ignition off and leave for half hour. (be careful as this is pyrotechnics and therefore explosive charge) Disconnect the electrical connectors under each seat, twist the wire one turn (so it has a slight bias on the connection when refitting) and reconnect. That may well solve the issue but because it is intermittent then it may not bring the light on straight away.
-
I would advise someone look at the connections under both front seats for the SRS seatbelt pretensioners as they usually flag up a fault if the connection is poor
-
no that seems fine as long as the lights switch on and off I wonder if the drivers door lock is faulty as it should control the rest of the doors locking and unlocking The fob may be faulty but try a quality battery and also check any microswitches for the buttons that may have become detached from the circuit board

It is necessary to remove all weights if out of balance before fitting new ones when replacing tyres If the amount of weights are too large then it is sometimes best to spin the tyre around on the rim to cancel out the imbalance
-
I would check the door switch which signals the system that the door is opened or closed and can trigger the alarm if wrong signal given Open in each door including bonnet, load area and all others to see if the interior light comes on and goes out after a while

Hi....welcome to the forum Good to have you onboard

oh very nice car ! Welcome to the forum and keep us updated on the progress
-
I would start by checking the electrical connection into the motor and if it spins up when you turn everything on the there's the problem
-
I would start by removing the glovebox to see how much access you gain, if not much then continue to remove more dashboard components
