Nissan Primera Alarm

Hi all,

I have a nissan primera 2006 1.8s hatchback. I am having major problems with the alarm system. It keeps going of at work, locking the boot, interior lights wont work and a car emblem on dashboard with a door open. I change the fuse and it sets it. This only happens at work and NOWHERE else. If anyone can put a light on this it will stop me from going mad. It has been to nissan engineers who tell me its an alarm system nearby setting it off, another said it was someone elses key fob setting it off and another said it had been tampered with. HELP.

There are obvious only 2 reasons as you stated, either someone is tampering with your car or another car with the same frequenzy with your alarm, try parking a few streets away or outside the car park.

Hi Mick, works car park has cctv and it isnt being tampered with, onlky about 7 other cars are parked there and they all tried their keys. The only thing we can come upwith now is the steeering lock. If its on it dosnt go of, if its not on it does go of. Doh. Got to remember to put the blessed thing on. x

Thank you, We tried all key fobs as its the same 7/8 cars there every night and nothing. I have now been told its because i forget to put the steering lock on. I have now started to put it on it didnt set the alarm of, after a couple of days i left it of and the alarm went of. Did this a second time to make sure and it is setting the alarm of when the lock isnt on. Very strange.
