2004 X-Trail Spare key not work with remote control

Hi . My name is Joe new from member. I got 2004 x_trail , the spare key can not remote the door open . But i use the key to open the door the alarm active and sound. i immediately start the engine that is ok then alarm is off. I change the key new battery still not work . I think i need to program the key . Did anybody know how to do it.

Hi Joe...welcome to the Forum

The problem is the key fob internals, which are quite easy to fix and cheap to do.

Try this kit (I have used quite a few from this supplier) and if you are handy with a soldering iron its a quick DIY job.
