hi all hope you can help i have a k12 micra and struggling to start in the morning, before the cold wether it had poor idle at times but liveable, but now its cold it dont seem like the choke cuts in

ive ordered a new coolant temperature sensor and would like to know the location any help would be appreciated, where under the bonnet will i find the sensor ?

Hi Lou....welcome to the Forum

I think the coolant sensor is the culprit....usually is when cold starts are involved

The sensor should have 2 wires going to it, if there is one with one wire it is more than likely the one for the temperature gauge.

It should be located on the end of the cylinder head with a large(ish) connector attached to it
