Afternoon all,

 

new to this so go easy on me....I have a Qashqai +2 on a 62 plate and have been trying to reprogram a key fob(central locking). Does anyone have any insight on this? 

I have googled the life out of the problem and have found many similar instructions on how to do it but none work. I can't get past the "insert and remove the key from the ingition 6 times" section to get the car to enter programming mode. 

 

Any my help would be great fully appreciated.

There are several different versions I have read over time but one of the does work (sorry, can't remember which sequence to use) but also, if the unlock/lock feature on the fob is not working, check the buttons inside have not fallen off the board. You can get kits to repair them if you're handy with a soldering iron
