Hi can anyone tell me if there is a light on the dash for DPF regen on my qashqai 2011

There should be one that will illuminate if the DPF needs regenerating but not usually one if it is naturally regenerating. 
You may notice the temperature increase and plumes of dark smoke from the exhaust if it is occurring

On a Peugeot I’ve just changed to a Qashqai the DPF filter blocking caused the engine management light to come on and the car to go in to 10 mph limp mode.  The reason why the filter blocked was almost certainly due to my local mileage only not exceeding 5 miles per week.  To get the light out ready for my sale to a dealer I used a DPF in fuel tank cleaner which cleared the problem.  My Qashqai is the 1.2 petrol so lesson learnt.
